The club has an Angling section which organises competitions throughout the year. With numerous trophies to be won, both on the shoreline, and from afloat. The Angling section has a dedicated area for storing and preparing equipment in the yard.
You can find details of the competitions that have been arranged for the 2011 season using the link above. As usual each competition is held on a Thursday or a Sunday, with the exception of the Bass Cup and the Ladies / junior cups which are on a Sunday only. With the Thursday/Sunday competitions you only fish one of the two days. All competitors must book in using the book in the Anglers Roost prior to fishing.
